Hurst Warne Acquires £11m Investment in Farnborough

 

Outcome

  • Agreed terms to buy the Travis Perkins head-lease interest which included a letting of a 20,000 sq ft retail warehouse let to Dunelm • Agreed new market lease terms to Wickes on another 20,000 sq ft • Arranged property surveys • Provided RICS Red Books valuation • Worked closely our clients and lawyers and with the vendor/agent to ensure the deal completed • Once completed Hurst Warne were appointed to manage the estate

Brief

  Hurst Warne were asked by our client to assist and negotiate terms for an “off market” purchase of Travis Perkins long leasehold interest in a prime retail warehouse development/investment in the centre of Farnborough. The brief also included negotiating terms for a new lease to Wickes.

Brief
