Surrey CC & Consort House
Kent based investor-developer the Milton Group have sold Consort
House, Queensway Redhill which comprises 30,696 sq ft of Grade A office space.
Surrey County Council have purchased the freehold interest in the
building, which they will use for their own occupation, and will be relocating
staff from existing premises in Reigate.
The Milton Group were advised by Hurst Warne and Knight
Frank. |

Hurst Warne Sells Historic Building
On behalf of the current vendors, Hurst Warne have sold 3
substantial historic listed buildings in West Street, Dorking. The buildings
total some 3,471 sq ft over ground and three upper floors.
The property is believed to be the only surviving building in the
world owned and occupied by a pilgrim father, namely William Mullins, who
sailed on the Mayflower Ship to America on 16th September 1620.

2011 Property Triathlon
On Friday 8th July 2011, 2,200 property professionals descended on
a wind swept Dorney Lake in Eton, to take part in the 5th Property
Triathlon.
Hurst Warne entered 2 individuals and 3 relay teams in the event.
Mark Leah was the quickest Hurst Warne individual competitor 29 seconds ahead
of Steve Barrett. In the relay Nick Atkinson, Maurice Johnson and Adrian Henson
set a new fastest time for a Hurst Warne relay time beating the Hurst Warne
Yoof Team yet again!
This year's event raised £120,000 for Macmillan Cancer
Support
Co-sponsored by Property Week and Jones Lang LaSalle and
coordinated by Human Race, the Property Triathlon is now firmly established as
one of the UK's largest triathlons and the event has raised over £870,000
to date for charity.
